Malaysia: Easing of Covid restrictions from 1 May

Malaysia has announced further easing of Covid restrictions in the country from 1 May. There will no longer be any requirements for pre-departure testing or testing on arrival for fully vaccinated travellers. Wearing masks in outdoor public places will be optional. Mask-wearing is still required at certain indoor venues. Malaysia has a very high vaccination rate.
